Every donor to this campaign for Islamic Relief Canada's efforts in Palestine will receive an original Art by Aruba digital art print in five colours [pictured]. It features an olive tree illustration with traditional Palestinian embroidery and patterns, along with a beautiful quote from celebrated Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. 

To me, the olive tree represents the strength, beauty, resilience, generosity and faith of the Palestinian people. My goal was to reflect that in this illustration. 

The Campaign

In recent weeks, according to Islamic Relief:

• 253 Palestinians were killed, including 66 children
• Al-Aqsa mosque was, and continues to be stormed by the Israeli military
• The families in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan neighbourhoods continue to face imminent disposession 

• Thousands of residents are left homeless, with vital infrastructure including hospitals, water and electricity heavily damaged

• Ongoing food and medicine shortages

Islamic Relief is on the ground responding to these needs and they need our help. As they have said, "The real work has only just begun"

100% of funds will go towards Islamic Relief Canada's emergency campaign in Gaza. Please give whatever you can.
