The Ultimate Healing Umrah Fund supports individuals take part in the healing journey of a lifetime. For some of the old pilgrims, the journey was an incredible, uplifting experience which helped them re-connect back to Allah and find solace in their tests. 

We've supported over 40 unique individuals make the healing journey of a lifetime. Each person is uniquely selected out of a nomination process that sees over 100 people being put forward each round. Each nomination carries the story of someone who had suffered unimaginable tests in their recent life. 

Last December, our group included couples who have suffered multiple loss of children and grandchildren, torture survivors, survivors of the Grenfell Tower Fire, individuals suffering from homelessness and those who have suffered from abuse. Each individual is absolutely deserving of this beautiful opportunity!

Previous Pilgrims have included Grenfell Tower bereaved families and survivors, cancer patients, those suffering from mental health and those with severe disability alongside years of depression. Each person was selected due to their perseverance to overcome their hardship and their strength and forbearance up until their journey to Umrah.

What makes up the Ultimate Healing Umrah Journey?

The journey sees our pilgrims performing Umrah within 24 hours of landing in Jeddah. Praise be to Allah, last round some were able to perform multiple Umrahs', in some cases for those bereaved and for loved ones no longer with us. Furthermore, they also get to benefit from the following:

In Makkah

• Daily naseeha's and faith based workshops
• Teaching of how to recite the Qur'an and pray Salah,
• Tour of Masjid Ul Haram
• Tour of Arafat, Muzdalifah, Mina and Jamarat,
• Storytelling about the different landmarks significant to Islam
• Discovery seerah of the Prophet (PBUH)'s life,
• Practical workshops on healing,
• Prophetic communication workshop,

In Madinah

• Daily naseeha's and faith-based workshops
• Tour of Masjid Ul Haram
• Visiting Qiblatain and Quba mosque
• Tour of Madinah Mosque
• Visiting significant sites and storytelling of their association to Islam
• Ziyarat of the prophets grave
• Visiting the land of the Battle of Uhud
• Desert Trek followed by campfire dinner and storytelling
