A lot of people choose not to send their children to Averroes because they have the “grass is always greener” mindset. But why not water our grass and make it a place where our community can thrive?  I have had an enjoyable experience at Averroes and believe that we can spread this gift through donations. The same gift that I have had the blessing to experience for the last year and the same one my sisters received before me starting in 2016.  Here I am pictured learning from a senior in our community during a recent visit.  This is just one of the opportunities for growth I experience at AHS.  I have had many opportunities in my two years here like visiting and learning from the Navajo Nation in Arizona, supporting our school's environmental club; starting my own business and being part of our school's basketball team.   With your help, students like me - now and in the future will be able to benefit from this amazing school that is Averroes High School.
