They pulled bodies from the rubble today. Again. A family, maybe two, wiped out in a single strike. Small shoes scattered in the dust. A mother’s hand still wrapped around her child. This is Gaza, every day.

Targeted bombings have become routine, with homes, schools, hospitals, camps, and markets all struck with precision. Families, entire communities, erased in seconds. It’s the smell of smoke in a child’s hair, the silence after a bomb, the ache of waiting for help that never comes.

Thousands have been buried, many of them children, many of them mothers shielding their babies. Half the lives lost are the softest ones. Half..

These aren’t rare stories; they happen every day. Every hour..

I write this with real tears. Our hearts weren’t made to carry this much grief. Yet the people of Gaza carry it, breathe through it, and still pray. What faith. What strength. 

And what will we do?

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever relieves a believer’s distress, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Judgment.” [Sahih Muslim]

I’m not asking you to move mountains, just to move your heart.
