Our team consist of students from different faculties such as medicine, pharmacy and allied health sciences from Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences, CUCMS with the aims to extend a helping hand from Cyberjaya, Malaysia, all the way across Southern Asia to Bajitpur, Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Relief and Care Expedition, better referred to as BRACE, maintains the theme of focusing on medical activities and charity events in an effort to provide relief to international communities. 

Twenties For Smileys hopes to benefit the poor and underprivileged of Bajitpur both practically and on an emotional, spiritual level. This is especially so in light of the recent flood events that came as a consequence to the heavy rainfall in India and Nepal, Bangladesh’s neighbouring countries.

Once in Bajitpur, the team will carry out carefully planned activities to bring awareness towards the importance of health. 

MISSION TENTATIVE

As we all aware of the health and psychological impact that happen due to the flood which ocurs in Dhaka for almost every year, we aim to conduct a mobile clinic and also a health screening checkups which includes blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose level and consultation to the people to the people in charity houses for the Muslim and Non-Muslims living in the targeted community. Besides, we will also provide physiotherapy and psychological programmes to the villagers during the event. These medical activities will be conducted by students from CUCMS, medical lecturers and also translators comprising of students from Jaharul Islam Medical College (JIMC). Through this effort, we hope to increase the awareness of public towards their health and well-being.
