Welcome to the Berkeley Masjid!

The Berkeley Masjid has been serving the Muslim community of the East Bay Area since 2011. It has especially provided the students of UC Berkeley a place to find spiritual rejuvenation, solace, sisterhood and brotherhood at a time where one's identity can easily come into question.

Our current services include:

• • Friday sermon and daily prayers
• • Sunday School with Quranic and Islamic studies
• • Daily Iftar/dinner during Ramadan
• • Taraweeh prayer
• • Eid prayer
• • Annual community potlucks
• • Hosting scholars to teach ilm workshops

Since then, our community members have successfully raised money, and we only have $50k to payoff the masjid completely and a UC Berkeley alumni has offered to partially match part of the donation. Be part of building a historic masjid !

                           That's why we are turning to you for the final stretch.
