A FRESH START

Refugee families come to the United States seeking a safe haven from violence and persecution in their home countries. They leave behind family and friends, as well as virtually everything they own. They often arrive physically and mentally exhausted from their long and difficult journey. Many Americans, seeing these families in their communities, wonder: What can I do to help? 

Miry's List has partnered with Blair to raise funds to purchase beds, bedding, pillows, mattress and cribs for new arrival refugee families starting over in the United States. With your help, we will be able to provide comfortable beds for resettling folks to rest their bodies and minds when they first come to America. 

​ABOUT MIRY’S LIST

Miry’s List is a nonprofit organization that provides a mechanism for people to directly help new arrival refugee families with the incredible challenge of resettlement in the United States. We help newcomers connect with caring people, basic necessities, and services that make this process less isolating and less intimidating. Our work at Miry’s List ensures that new arrival families are welcomed and prepared to thrive in their new lives in the U.S. Since 2016, we’ve helped over 1,000 newcomer families who have come through the US Federal Refugee Admissions program from countries including Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran.

The Miry's List Bed Fund for Refugees is designated specifically for purchasing beds, bedding, pillows and mattresses for new arrival families. We need the ability to purchase these critical items for families at the moment that they need them most. This is the MOST popular program we have at Miry's List.
