This number includes children who have lost one or both parents due to various reasons such as conflict, disease, poverty, or natural disasters. Sadly, for millions of orphans worldwide, this vision of the future remains a distant hope.

Urgent Support Needed in Palestine

The situation in Palestine has not gotten any better. With millions of families, parents, and children displaced, Palestinians have lost their homes, food, water, and survival necessities. Human Concern International has been working in Gaza for more than 20+ years. They have teams on the ground that are providing with basic necessities, such as food, water, shelter, and medical aid.

Clean water is essential to life. It is estimated that 663 million people are without access which has a direct impact on health, education, and economic opportunity. Each year, 443 million school days are lost from water-related challenges and illnesses. Dirty drinking water kills 1000 children daily through diarrhea, typhoid, cholera, dysentery, and other water-borne illnesses. That means more people die every year… Lack of access to clean drinking water means a less prosperous community.
