Yasin is on the road to recovery but he needs your help along the way.

On May 17 2021, our son Yasin suffered an anoxic brain injury. Due to the injury he slipped into a coma and we feared we might lose our beloved son. But Allah answers the prayers of the believers and by His mercy Yasin fought his way back.

Fighting his way back with resilience.

But this was just the beginning of the most challenging time for Yasin and our family. The injury devastated Yasin’s body and over the course of months he has had to relearn how to walk, talk, and eat on his own again. Seven months into recovery he has made great progress, yet he still struggles with many simple actions that we often take for granted. The path to recovery has been difficult and there is still a long way to go with the aid of Allah (swt) and everyone's prayers.

A son, a husband, a brother.

We are reaching out to the community, friends and family to help us continue supplying the therapies and medical services Yasin needs that are not covered by insurance. Yasin is loved by so many and the support he has received through this tragedy has been overwhelming. Ask anyone who knows Yasin and they will tell you of his care for others, his generosity, his kindness. He is a gifted a photographer, a musician, a fluent speaker of many languages and a great mind. To see him as he is now is to see a shadow of the man he truly is, but inshaAllah with Allah’s aid and your help he will regain his light.

Most importantly we ask you to make dua(prayers) for Yasin and our family. Jazakum Allahu Khayr, may Allah have mercy upon us all.
