​In these last blessed days of Ramadan, Remember Your Masjid!

In 2014, we embarked on a journey to create a masjid, an Islamic Center, a House of Allah, and a community in Brooklyn Park. Our first Jummah prayer and our Taraweeh was spent in the Brooklyn Park Ice Rink! 

The community started out small, but began to grow quickly. 

​A New Masjid.

Alhumdullilah, by the blessings of Allah, we moved into our new place in 2017. Three classrooms, a large musallah, 2 offices, and a kitchen with acres of land for future expansion, we are tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.  Five daily prayers, Jummah, Family Friday halaqas, Quran classes for children, Fiqh classes for women are just some of the programming that began to take place. 

​A Community Garden

Driven by our future leaders - young Muslims - BPIC built a community garden on the property. Together with volunteers, our youth leaders designed the garden, gathered community members to select herbs and vegetables, and built a luscious garden. The produce was sold at Jummah and all money was raised and given back to the masjid. We had our own Jummah farmers market! 

After the pandemic, we'll be back in the Masjid. 

We had to close our masjid also, but still stay connected with our community. We have nightly Khatiras with our Imam and In sha Allah look forward to being with our community again.
