Build An Orphanage in Chato,Tanzania

At  Al Ansari we have been tasked to build a much needed orphanage in Chato, Geita, Tanzania, by the grace of Allah swt.

The Bin Ghanim Orphanage Centre is currently housed in an unfinished masjid supporting 25 orphan boys ranging from 1-9 years of age who desperately need accommodation and basic amenities.

£20,000 is required to kickstart this project to build the much needed dormitory which will serve the orphans who have witnessed hardship and difficulty.

The Story So Far… 

The Bin Ghanim Orphanage centre started as a charitable organisation as part of a community masjid in the remote area of western Tanzania, Geita, due to the increase number of orphans who are registering every day from the local authorities, the centre is now struggling and seeking help to expand and  build a boys' dormitory, basic amenities such as showers, a kitchen, dining hall and equip the orphans with beds and essentials. Your funds will help build and deliver these basic needs to the orphans and put a smile on their faces.

Planning the Build…

Since the project has started, with the generous donations received so far, blankets and bedding have been provided for the boys as well as the foundation for the dormitory has been set. Further funds are now required to move on to Phase 2 where the team will build the outer and inner walls of the dormitory which will have 12 twin cubicles, showers and a laundry room providing comfort and stability to the orphans when the build is complete.  

The project will be conducted under 3 phases

Phase 1: Complete the skeletal build of the dormitory and set the foundations

Phase 2: Start building the outer and inner walls of the dormitory.

Phase 3: Complete Roofing and plastering.
