In our fast-paced tech-driven world, engaging our children with the latest technology for their Islamic learning is key. This Ramadān, our goal is to fund 17 smart, interactive whiteboards for our Children’s Madrasah (Supplementary School) based in London. This will cost a total of £30,000 and any excess funds raised will be used to further fund impressive, useful resources to bring the vision for our Supplementary Schools to life.

Al Misbaah Academy, a UK registered charity, established a children’s madrasah (supplementary school) in 2017, and have since expanded to educate over 700 children on a weekly basis in Islamic Studies.

Our strength lies in our holistic and integrated vision of Islamic education, and our focus on character development and human relations. Within every teachable moment, we aim to nurture the character and inner spirit of our children and empower them to self-discovery, wholeness and social consciousness. With our distinctive and powerful approach to Islamic education, we are at the forefront of Islamic educational providers.

We strongly believe that learning within a classroom should be practical, relevant, hands-on and active. Research proves that the use of technology within a classroom, including interactive whiteboards, allows for the use of innovative, active and hands-on teaching methods, improves classroom interaction, increases students’ knowledge retention and attention span, overall, heightening student engagement and making learning enjoyable.

We yearn for our children to develop a love for Islām through the teaching we provide. We wish for them to remember the days spent in madrasah during their childhood with fondness and positivity. We aspire to create an environment where learning is brought to life and our children engage in new, immersive learning experiences through the use of the latest technology.
