We are raising funds to build a whole village in one of the most rural parts of Bangladesh, which is 1 hour away by boat from Tahirpur, Sunamganj. The area is constantly affected by floods, being situated in a low ground area. Due to the poverty in the locality, many locals can only afford mud huts, which are always damaged by the floods.  Due to the water and constant floods, disease is common, especially water related diseases, such as malaria, diarrhoea and cholera. Hygiene is almost non-existent.
We are raising funds to build 25 brick homes for 25 families, build a community mosque which will accommodate 200 worshippers, provide clean, safe drinking water, and build a primary school so we can educate the future generation!
