Now the time is ours, to invest in our children, whose voices will be echoing with the glorious words of the Quraan, empowering their young minds to be confident British Muslims in our brand-new education centre, Insha Allah. 

Jamea Academy, a part of Jamea Masjid, Preston, has been established for nearly 60 years - one of the oldest in NW England. It has positively served thousands across Preston and beyond, including revert sisters and teenage girls, irrespective of background/culture, from their first Qur’anic words onto becoming assured young Muslims, the purpose; to safeguard the Imaan of our future generations.

The journey to rebuild our madrasah / evening school due to its dilapidated and unusable state is well underway; following demolition, a new multi-functional building is currently under construction. The generous community has already raised nearly £4 million and requires a further £1.5 million to complete final phase of internal works.

The building will comprise of 30+ classrooms, dedicated facilities for women, guest facilities accommodating tableegh jamaats and travelling ulama, a fully equipped mortuary, youth/mental support, and much more including working with different organisations like the NHS.
