The Muslim community in Elizabeth had been growing, and they needed a permanent place to worship. After searching for a long time, they found the perfect property - a beautiful piece of land with a building that could be converted into a mosque for the daily 5 prayers. 

The community was excited, but they knew it wouldn't be easy. They needed to raise $600,000 to buy the property. They announced the project at the local mosques and started receiving pledges.

To date, we've raised an impressive $448,000, but we're still short of our $600,000 goal.
