This mother’s plea, in tears to us, expands to explain to us that her son is currently struggling to flourish in traditional public schools. As a recently displaced Burmese family who has just recently settled in a refugee community, her son has been struggling to understand the difference between cultures and missing his Islamic identity.

Our school is currently bound by rules, by budgets stretched thin and a list of applicants growing, each with a story echoing a struggle of their own. This rejection was spoken with a heavy heart—a "no" that throbbed loudly in this mother’s ears. Her pleas, her hopes, were met with apologies that draped over her shoulders like another burden to bear.

We understand the power of education is transformative particularly for those who are entrusted with little more than their dreams. The Burmese refugee community has long felt the cold chill of adversity, but today you have the warmth of opportunity in your hands.

We're reaching out to compassionate individuals like you to take part in a life-changing initiative. After reevaluating our capacity, we are seeking sponsorships for five resilient Burmese students—students who are eager to learn, to grow, and to give back to the community that cradles them.

Your Sponsorship: A Year of Possibilities

$8,150 tuition means you can sponsor one student for an entire year. This includes comprehensive support:

• Dormitory and Board: A safe place to rest, study, thrive and be in the company of like-minded students to support each other and help with their studies.
• Nutritious Food and Drinks: We provide our students with 3 nutritious hot meals a day and 2-3 healthy snacks 7 days a week. We believe providing nutrition is essential sustenance for developing minds.
• Educational Expenses and Supplies: From textbooks to technology, everything a student needs to excel is provided to a student attending our institution.
• A Culture of Philanthropy: Our curriculum includes community service, imbuing students with the value of giving. Our students receiving scholarships are required to participate in our monthly food drives to the community so that they can have hands-on experience with giving back.
