Salaam Alaikum 

Abdul Chappell, that is unfortunately incarcerated in TDC at the Choice Moore Unit in Bonham Texas, has  been the acting Imam at the Choice Moore Unit a little over a year now. Although it is unfortunate that he is in Prison, by Allah's blessing, he has given and or overseen 30 Shahadas 1 in the last 14 months. (Alhumdulilah! Allahu Akbar!) Outside of leading the Ummah By Allah's will, he has created and taught interfaith classes within the Unit, graduating well over 100 participants. His aim is to prove that, by understanding the similarities between the 3 Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), society is Individually and collectively better all together. The work and results from these classes serving diverse faiths and races has been no short of amazing. As a result of the class, Abdul was inspired to turn these classes into a 12 lesson workbook called “The Children of Abraham/ 3 cousins 1 Bloodline” and Abdul is seeking support to fund the production and printing of this workbook for incarcerated program participants in several US correctiona facilities. Abdul wholeheartedly believes that the only way to change the narrative in society between our faiths is through down to earth and relatable Dawah. Our Deen is spread more effectively through our actions and deeds, and he appeals to the global Ummah for support in spreading the truth.
