This insufficiency forces millions to depend on contaminated water, which leads to severe health problems and significantly diminishes their quality of life.

The reliance on polluted water sources has dire health consequences. Waterborne diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and dysentery are rampant, causing countless illnesses and deaths, especially among children. The absence of clean water exacerbates malnutrition and makes it challenging to maintain proper hygiene, further spreading disease.

Without access to clean water, daily life is a struggle. Women and children often bear the burden of fetching water, traveling long distances to reach unclean sources. This task consumes time and energy, limiting opportunities for education and economic activities. The scarcity of clean water stifles community development and perpetuates cycles of poverty.

The Project: Bringing Clean Water to Remote Villages

With your generous support, we aim to transform the lives of those in remote, impoverished villages of Uganda by constructing five water wells. Each well will provide a dependable source of clean water, drastically improving health outcomes and quality of life.

Cost Breakdown

The cost to build one water well, including labor, drilling, equipment, water pump, cement, paint, and signage, is $1400. Here is a detailed breakdown of the expenses:
