More than 141,000 families in Indonesia are experiencing a clean water crisis. The cause of this water crisis is the economic limitations of the community to build adequate sanitation facilities. As a result, many people suffer from skin and digestive infections, especially children.

Moreover, during the dry season, residents have to walk dozens of kilometers to fetch water. The paths they take are quite steep, with many large and slippery rocks. Children, adults, and the elderly all work together to fetch water to meet their daily needs. Water is a basic necessity, and everyone should have the right to it. This fundraiser is to help the people of Banteng Kurus Hamlet in Darek Village, Praya Barat Subdistrict, Central Lombok Regency. The residents have been experiencing a clean water crisis at the end of each rainy season. This impact is felt more severely as nearly every day, around 50-75 families queue up to wait for donated water if it is available.

Since the majority of residents are only farming and gardening, the wages they earn are barely enough for their daily food with their families. A large amount of money is needed to build deep wells to obtain clean and clear water to supply the entire village.
