This year has been very difficult as some long time donors have been unable to help as much as before.  With the decline in donations this has been the first time that we have had to cut back and help less orphans since we were founded.  For our volunteers on the ground it is heart breaking to see the orphans that we're unable to help.

The us-Sunnah Foundation (ussunnah.org) is a registered 501c3 charity that has been helping orphans and refugees for over a decade by the mercy of Allah and our great donors such as yourself.  Every donation is tax-deductible and zakat-eligible.

Your charity is an amanat which is why we are completely volunteer based with a waqf to cover any administrative needs.  This means we have a true 100% donation policy so every donation makes a maximum impact and difference in a young life.  Actually many of our volunteers were orphans we helped when our mission began over a decade ago.

4.  LaunchGood.com/Ramadan1445  — This is the most time sensitive campaign as we want to raise $20,000 in the next months *before* Ramadan so that at the start of Ramadan we can host an iftar for 1,000 orphans and then also give them a packet of supplies such as dates, etc. that they can break their fasts with every day for the entire month of Ramadan. The us-Sunnah Foundation has been caring for orphans consistently every month since 2014.  Many of the orphans we helped in the past have grown, graduated, and even married with their own families over the years.  Some of our own volunteers today were these orphans themselves.  We are happy to be locally run by our volunteers with very minimal overhead; by people who live among and understand the orphans in need.  Caring for the orphans is our passion but we need your help.

I know you're busy this Ramadan but I wanted to reach out to you as a past donor.  The main mission of the us-Sunnah Foundation, since it started in 2014, has been the consistent monthly care for orphans and widows.  Every month we provide 200 orphans and widows with food packets which contain food staples for 30 days for about 5 people.  We also provide education assistance to keep orphans in school while they have so much pressure to quit and work on the streets to survive.  Finally we worked with local clinics to make sure everyone has access to basic healthcare.

For just $50 per month you can sponsor and orphan, which includes all of the above with good food, good education, and good health, inshaa' Allah.  Since our founding, our focus has been on being locally run, personal, and efficient being completely volunteer run and having a Waqf of farms and apartments to cover operations expenses.  This means your donation goes truly 100% only to the orphans in need as you intend.

Unfortunately in the last few years with the pandemic donations have declined and many of our monthly recurring donors or sponsors have lost jobs and cancelled their recurring support.  Right now we have only about $1,200 in regular monthly recurring donations.  We must get to $10,000 by the end of Ramadan and this is our goal. Asalaamu'alaikum Ikhwan. I truly need some help right now and it is urgent.

Apparently a group of hackers were using our charity's donations to test stolen cards and over the last year or more they made $9103.57 worth of payments that Stripe is now taking back from our charity's bank. Problem is we already used those funds to feed people and this is going to put us in the negative badly.

We have 200+ orphans and needy that we care for every month and unless we can raise this amount fast it will probably mean they will go without food for March and April, which includes Ramadan and Eid. Most of those we help live in illegal shacks or huts next to train tracks and really are truly needy.
