PUT A BIG SMILE on these KIDS at 10 vulnerable community in Malaysia

This road tour project aimed to educate kids at 10 vulnerable communities such as rural poor, urban poor and refugee communities in Malaysia, learn to know Allah and Seerah of Prophets via music and storytelling approach by Malaysian prominent influencers. In order to make the session more engaging, we will bring along Mascot Yusuf & Sara for special appearances.

​Little that we know, kids in vulnerable communities are left behind in education as well as technology. We have to admit that most of the kids are not exposed to the right Islamic education as taught in the Quran & Sunnah. 

​Poverty restricted them to acquire knowledge. Poor facilities are one of the main obstacles for them to have a proper education. Most NGOs did their outreach in vulnerable communities are focusing on community basic living needs such as foods, water, and sanitation. There is too little initiative focusing on education especially Islamic teaching as education is a long-term initiative whereas the rest could result in the outcome in a short-term period.

Therefore, Scholars Ink would like to initiate this noble project to reach the kids in vulnerable communities and touch their hearts with engaging and interactive Islamic education contents and modules. We hope that one fine day, they will outshine as a good Muslim and servant of Allah. Insha’Allah.

Scholars Ink will also send 20 sets of Yusuf & Sara Bedtime Series to 10 vulnerable community libraries for this first project. Of course, we would love to give more. Please help us to make this dream come true. Because we believe, through storybook teachers, volunteers will have close relationships with the kids. This would be the best platform for them to express their feeling, hope, the expectation in their life. The kid is full of imagination. In this way, our kids feel validated and included. With proper guidance, Insha’Allah he will be a success in this life and the hereafter.

With full support from donors and the public, we would like to have this project as a sustainable project and not a one-off project so that it will be a series of continuous projects that will benefit the targeted communities. Biiznillah.

The "Bedtime Series" is a sustainable social project specially designed to monetarily support selected NGOs in Malaysia. Its is a Social Enterprise project which is not focus to generate profit but more focus on creating sustainable project for NGOs.

There will be a lot more exciting series in the pipeline for this Bedtime Series project that will benefit 2 groups:

1. Customers : Strengthening relationship between parent and kids. 

2. Beneficiaries :  Supporting operational cost of their organization.

This project also is a social collaboration between us, Scholars Ink, Philandure, a social impact advisory firm, Alif Satar, a Malaysian well-known singer, actor and host and Farah Lee, Malaysian Influencer, graduated in Msc. Early Childhood Education in Leeds, UK, who have social initiative called FL Childrity.

These series consist of 6 storybooks packed with Islamic values aimed at shaping good virtues (akhlaq) and positive moral values for young Muslims. Fun to read during bedtime or playtime, the storybooks use attractive and cute illustrations with straightforward words and exciting themes that could keep your little ones reading cover to cover.

We have completed 1 title and 5 more to come. Each title will be released one at a time, insya Allah.

For each set of book there'll be:

📕 A hardcover solar-theme bedtime storybook

🎫 Solar System Orbit and Planet Activity Board, including 8 planets fun cards
