Crescent Academy

With a growing Muslim population in the South Metro Atlanta area, there was an urgent need for an Islamic school. Many families with young children were leaving the community yearly to gain closer access to Islamic Schools in North Metro-Atlanta. The founders of the school themselves were all planning on moving until they decided to Establish a School instead in 2022.

Crescent Academy officially opened it's doors in August 2023, fully funded by the local Muslim community of the Islamic Community Center of Atlanta (ICCA) in Fayetteville, GA with a preschool class. The following year in 2024, due to high demand, the school expanded quickly within ICCA to include grades PreK3, PreK4, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Additional classrooms were built and furnished as well as textbooks and learning materials procured,  all using the funds raised by our local ICCA Masjid community, MashaAllah.

Subhanullah, by the Grace of Allah swt, we have outgrown our expectations. We conducted a survey of our community, and we have over 75 families with over 150 school-aged children interested in being enrolled is our Islamic Private School. We hope to expand at a steady and measured pace to ensure the best environment for our students.

Now, we need your help to continue to provide the best possible Academic and Islamic Education our school can offer in association with ICCA. We started this effort from the ground up, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Our goal is to raise $100,0000 initially to support:

1. Building redesign for child safety
2. Building 2 additional classrooms
3. Furnishing classrooms
4. Fencing a playground space
5. Ensure that our teachers receive the compensation they deserve
6. As well as other supplies and tools necessary to operate this school successfully

More Information

• Location: Our community survey showed the the majority of interested parents are within a 20mi radius to ICCA in Fayetteville, GA. We are currently housed within ICCA Masjid are an affiliate of ICCA. ICCA recently received a donation of five acres of land in an excellent location, which will be put towards the long-term plan of constructing a standalone school and recreational center, InshaAllah.
