Rochdale Community Mosque, formerly known as Rochdale Dawah Centre (RDC) was founded in 2003 to serve the diverse Muslim community, impart Islamic knowledge to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike and similarly, take part in educational, community and social projects.

At RCM we are non-sectarian, and committed to catering for both brothers and sisters (which was a first for Rochdale!).

All of our activities are in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic tradition.

We need your help to sustain the Masjid so that we can expand our services and facilities even further insha'Allah!

Please donate generously, the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire”
(Sunan at-Tirmidhi).

He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqah, “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity.”
(Sunan at-Tirmidhi).

Similarly, one of the luminaries from the past, Khalid bin Ma'dan said, “If Allah opens up a door of goodness for you then hasten to it, as you don't know when it will be closed.” And Sufyan ath-Thawri said, “When you intend to do something related to the hereafter then roll up your sleeves and hasten in doing it before the devil strives to prevent you.”
