JOIN THE MOVEMENT: DOCUMENTING ISLAM IN AMERICA

I am taking a historic journey throughout the Western United States to document  the masajid and the Muslim American experience all the way up to Alaska. A journey that no one has ever taken before. I need your help to make this possible.

I have personally invested in this project of documenting masajid in the Midwest, Texas and Southwest, digging deep into my personal savings to make this happen. I have no organization or entity funding or supporting me. This is entirely independent. And to keep it independent, with full creative freedom to tell the story of Muslim Americans by a Muslim American, I need your support. 

Please contribute generously to this historic project, be a part of the movement to tell our story which the mainstream media will never be able to cover with sincerity. 

As a Muslim, why should I care about this project? 

Because it is important:

• To preserve the history of Muslim Americans and Masajid of the United States
• To uplift and empower the next generation of Muslim Americans, the children of tomorrow to know who they are and what is their legacy in America
• To acknowledge the efforts, struggles and achievements of Muslims in America
• To have a library of knowledge, provide valuable information and options for Muslims considering moving to certain cities/states
• and many beneficial reasons that only Allah knows that are beyond our comprehension

Mainstream media, Hollywood and the multi-million dollar Islamophobic industry has continued to portray a negative and hateful image of our Muslim community in the United States. While the reality is that Muslim Americans have not only contributed to the progress of this nation but also done tremendous and significant work to promote harmony, God conscious and brilliant citizens of society with the principles of Islam according to the Quran and Sunnah. 

But unfortunately this story is either never covered or it is with hidden agendas. (For example promoting LGBTQ agendas).

As a concerned Muslim American independent documentary film-maker who cares about his community above all else, I wish to document all the hard work that has taken place in America for almost a full century, and continues to grow even more with the blessings of Allah (S.W.T.)

IMPACT OF OUR WORK:

The number one biggest impact of our work is the significant increase of self-confidence in Muslim Americans in our religious, social and political identity. 

Brothers and sisters all across the nation are feeling proud of being a muslim because of what they are witnessing. Muslim communities across the U.S. do not have the chance or time to travel to other communities as often as they would like. Through our work, they are witnessing the work of multiple communities across the nation, giving them a sense of belonging to the rest of Muslim Americans in the United States. Giving them a sense of confidence in pursuing the pleasure of Allah by striving to be a better Muslim and not losing hope in these testing times. 

Another impact of our work is the work of Da'wah. More and more people of other faiths are watching our documentaries and realizing the true side of Islam being practiced by Muslims in the U.S. They might have never met a Muslim before, but by watching the stories of Muslims on our channel they are appreciating the true and only deen of Allah (S.W.T.) and a lot of them are potential Muslims in the near future.
