Assalamu Alaikum/May Peace Be Upon You!
With the support of family, friends, and the community, we were able to feed over 80 families in Senegal during Ramadan 2022. This year, our goal is to feed even more people with your support. The money you donate will be used to create food kits that will be distributed to feed people in Senegal in the areas where it’s needed the most.
Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honorable reward (57:19).
This month is not only the month of the Quran but of giving, being mindful, and mercy. So please provide any amount you can, and if you can't, please keep all those suffering around the world in your prayers/duas.

This fundraiser will be active 16 March to allow adequate time for the food kits to be prepared and delivered within the last 10 days of Ramadan and Eid.

Salam/Hi to everyone!
Final update to this fundraiser. In total with more offline donations, we raised $1,460!
The food was purchased between the 15-19th of March. A cow was sacrified in accordance with zabiha (halal). 1 cow, 1 ton of rice, oil, and bags of onions were donated with the original donation. The organizer donated drinks.
40 food kits were created and distributed to 40 families on the 20th of March. With ~$260 given post distribution, that money was given to an additional 26 families.
In Senegal, for celebrations beignets are distributed. The organizers funded beignets to made 25th of March for distribution This week.
