In Bangladesh, 7.5% of people have a serious visual impairment, and almost one in ten people lives with complete blindness. Cataracts are responsible for between 50-80% of blindness in South East Asia.

For just £35, you can restore the eyesight of a vulnerable person in Bangladesh. It’s a priceless gift, which the person you’re helping wouldn’t be able to afford without your help.

When a person is cured of cataracts, especially in communities with limited accessibility for the visually impaired, they not only have their eyesight restored, but they’re able to navigate their environment, earn a living, and care for their families. It provides ongoing benefits for the whole family for years to come.
