We are happy to announce we have partnered up with PennyappealCa again this year for Ramadan, this will be our third year partnering up with them. As many of you have heard there has been a series of earthquakes that have hit parts of Turkey, Syria and Lebanon. This year we are raising money to support the victims who have been effected by the earthquakes, this is through providing hygiene kits, food packs, shelter and medical supplies. What happened in Turkey, Syria and Lebanon?

A huge earthquake killed more than 55,000 people and injured thousands more on Monday in Turkey and northwest Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, flattening apartment blocks and heaping more destruction on Syrian cities already devastated by years of war.Penny Appeal Canada is responding by providing immediate aid such as food, shelter and medical supplies to families affected by the earthquake and now left in the bitter winter cold.

Temperatures in some areas were expected to fall to near freezing overnight, worsening conditions for people trapped under rubble or left homeless.
