Eating Rights (as a part of MU'EED) is a local program which has been feeding the vulnerable in our Oakland, CA and surrounding communities since 1994 including the elderly, zakat-eligible families, and the unhoused. 

Our Goals:

Your contributions for this campaign will go directly to delivering hot, halal meals to local elders as well as supplemental resources allowing local families access to fresh produce.  Eating Rights is providing essential services to seniors and Zakat-eligible families. The focus for this fundraising effort is to continue to provide these essential services to our beloved elders and local families. It is our promise to deliver these services with loving care: to those in need in our local community!

With the generous donations collected from our 2023 and 2024 Launch Good campaigns we were able to maintain our weekly hot meal distribution and increase the number of recipients we serve. 

Our goal is to continue to increase our deliveries of hot meals and to sustain our produce supplemental program. The success of this year’s LaunchGood campaign will allow us to increase service to this vulnerable population in 2025!
