The goal of this campaign is to raise $7,500 to ensure access to education for 100 Palestinian children at the Child Center in Gaza. These funds will support education, transportation, extracurricular activities, improved learning spaces, materials and resources for these children.

Gaza is one of the most volatile regions in the world. Almost half of the population of Gaza is under 14 years old. Economic, political and social barriers have hindered access to safe and quality education for the large population of youth in Gaza. A poor quality of education has contributed to low academic achievements and lack of opportunity for these children.

How is IDRF helping?

​IDRF continues to provide 7,600 children and youth with access to education at the Child Center in Gaza. IDRF is working to improve the center’s science, art and IT labs.

Where the money goes:

For the funds raised, 90% of all proceeds will go directly to Urgent Relief and 10% for operational and admin costs through IDRF, a registered Canadian Charitable Organization (Registration No. 132542705RR0001).
