Let's make this year's campaign even more successful than last year's.  Last year you helped us to feed more than 1,000 families.  For some of these families, it was the first time they had tasted meat.  This year our target is to feed more than 2,000 families. Make This a Wonderful Eid Al-Adha

The Tharparkar Desert Sindh, Pakistan is home to approximately 1.6 million people who rely on livestock for their livelihood, but they cannot afford to eat the meat they rear. This Eid Al-Adha we are asking for donations so that we can give sheep, cows and camels to the villagers enabling them to eat meat - they wait for this feast for the whole year.

​Your Qurbani will be supporting families like the Nabi Buksh Family

Muslim Rose Welfare came to know the Nabi Buksh family and the problems they were experiencing through our existing projects in Tharparkar. Mr Nabi Buksh was struggling to care for his family: apart from not having the financial means to provide enough food for his family (his wife who suffers with mental health issues and his two adult, mentally disabled children), the family were living in a dilapidated hut, which didn't provide any shelter from the extreme desert heat of Tharparkar where the temperatures regularly reach more than 45º.

Muslim Rose Welfare began supporting the family with monthly rations and food packs, including meat, which the family had not eaten for many years. We then built a house with a solar panel system that provides lights and a fan.  We also installed a water pump for the family so that they no longer need to spend hours walking to fetch water for their everyday use.  It has been wonderful to see how this family's lives have improved.  Life is still very difficult, but Mr Nabi Buksh said that he is now able to look after his family with Muslim Rose Welfare's support.  His adult children are thriving and not so stressed with their living conditions.  His wife's depression is not so severe and he tearfully told us that they are so grateful for all the help his family is receiving and that their future no longer looks so bleak.
