Vulnerable Families and Homeless Winter Drive 2024

This Winter, we are working with KCL Arabsoc to help the homeless and the less fortunate vulnerable families by fundraising money and distributing packages first-hand to beneficiaries. 

The homeless and vulnerable families campaign aims to raise awareness and provide essential support for those facing hardship in our local communities. Many individuals struggle to have access to basic necessities especially in these challenging economic times.

The vulnerable families campaign focuses on encouraging donations and fostering partnerships with local organisations to deliver food and other necessities to these families. By coming together, we can create a stronger support network that not only addresses immediate needs but also gives the much needed support to these families. The homeless drive is an initiative aimed at providing support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness during the colder months. This drive often includes distributing items to help those in need stay safe and warm in these harsher conditions. Society members are encouraged to donate items or volunteer their time to distribute supplies, fostering a sense of solidarity and compassion within the community. Such efforts play a crucial role in addressing the immediate needs of homeless individuals during harsh winter conditions.

The Vulnerable Families Drive

Join us, Reformation Charity in collaboration with KCL Arab Society, to fundraise money for the homeless and vulnerable families by purchasing essential items to help them this winter.

Your generous donations will directly fund Reformation Charity's vital project to support vulnerable families in London who live under the poverty line. Your contributions will enable us to provide essential items like food and toiletries, bringing relief and comfort to vulnerable families that are going through difficulties. Some of these items include: 

• Lentils
• Milk
• Rice
• Pasta 
• Cereal
• Toilet paper
• Fresh fruit and vegetables 

The Homeless Drive

Join us to fundraise money for the homeless drive by purchasing essential items to help them this winter. The harsh reality of winter leaves thousands of homeless people cold and vulnerable in the streets of London. These care packages we fundraise for and the package makes the colder months slightly more bearable for individuals. Such care packages contain items like: 

• Toothpastes
• Toothbrushes
• Hand warmers
• Sleeping bags
• Essential foods
• Plasters

How it works 

Volunteers sign up for this initiative, and we provide them a personalised fundraising link. Once we hit our fundraising goal, we begin utilising the proceeds to purchase goods and volunteers have the chance to join us. The following day, volunteers package all items into bags. Once packaging is complete, distribution to the homeless and vulnerable families across London commences.
