This convoy provides essential food and non-food items to families suffering from severe shortages. The project prioritizes orphans, ensuring that they receive the care and resources they desperately need. By focusing on this vulnerable group, the initiative aims to alleviate the hardships faced by orphaned children, offering them hope and support during these challenging times.

The Hope Convoy will be bringing food and vegetable parcels, meat, eggs, clothing, and shoes:

Food and Vegetable Parcels 🥦
Food parcels are being delivered to families regularly. We have an urgent need for 2000 food parcels that can be brought in with the Hope Convoy 🚛 Each food parcel box contains:
• Ground chickpeas
• Tomato paste (300g)
• Halva (350 grams) 
• Soup (instant)
• Chicken luncheon
• Beans (400g)
• Sardines
• Oil (1 liter) 
• Lentils (1 kg)
• Sugar (1 kg) 
• Salt (1 kg) 
• Rice (1 kg)
• Vermicelli (200g) 
• Macaroni (350 g)
+ a basket of fresh vegetables 🧅

Protein 🥩🥚
The Hope Convoy can bring in 6,500 egg trays and 9,500 kg of frozen chicken 🍗

Clothing & Shoes 🥾
The Hope Convoy is able to bring 5,000 pieces of clothing and 5,000 pairs of shoes

🚨 Our team has been on the ground since November 2023, providing hot meals & water daily. Our kitchen is set up to support those without access to food and clean water. We have helped thousands of people so far, because of your support.

OUR ONGOING PROJECTS:

Charity Kitchen 🍽
The charity kitchen provides food on a daily basis to those in need in Gaza. The kitchen prepares meals, including rice cooked with meat or chicken and different types of cooked vegetables or legumes (as available). We also hand-deliver grocery packages on a regular basis to ensure Gazans are getting the nutrition they need.

Drinking Water 💦
Drinking water is being provided to families in need, to ensure they have access to a sufficient amount of clean water during these difficult times.

Droplets of Mercy has been working in Gaza since November of 2023 with support from our partners on the ground. Your donations have been actively going towards immediate emergency relief including over 150 tents, thousands of food packs, hygiene kits (this includes feminine products), clean water, medical supplies, and other medical aid.

Q: How are you sending donations to Gaza? A: At the time of this post, there are no disruptions in our ability to send funds to our partners. Due to the ongoing situation, we are taking things day by day.

Q: Food supplies are running out. Where will my donation be used if there is no food supplies available? A: At the time of this post, we are able to purchase food supplies inside Gaza and are operating a daily soup kitchen with meat and vegetables, alhamdulillah. In light of any changes, we will do our best to source supplies as efficiently as possible. Due to the ongoing situation, we are taking things day by day.
