UPDATE: Our monthly orphan campaign to feed 200 orphans each month currently has enough to feed 115 orphans at the end of June.  That leaves ~85 orphans at a cost of $50 per orphan per month to provide them with an entire month of food, education assistance to stay in school, and any emergency medical needs.  Please share this campaign and donate whatever you are able to.. every dollar makes a difference.

The us-Sunnah Foundation has been helping orphans and refugees for over a decade with a consistent mission.  We have provided almost 5 million meals and helped thousands of orphans.  Many of our original orphans from a decade ago are adult volunteers today!

We have an endowment (Waqf) that covers all operations and are locally run by volunteers.  This makes us very efficient so that we can offer a 100% donation policy so every dollar goes to helping!

[URGENT] This month is estimated to only have enough donations for 74 orphans unless we get new donors and donations!  That leaves 126 orphans we care for that will go without dire food help...

​The us-Sunnah Foundation has been helping orphans for over a decade declining donations since COVID, especially the recurring monthly donors, is threatening to end their mission of helping 200 orphans every month (at $50 per orphan).

UPDATE: So far this month we've raised just  $4,939  of the $10k goal to feed our 200 orphans.  Just one week remaining in April.  With our 100% donation policy, every dollar goes to food in the mouths of orphans.  Just $50 per orphan feeds them for the entire month!

Ramadan Mubarak from everyone at the us-Sunnah Foundation and our hundreds of orphans that you have helped throughout the last 10 years!  We've just uploaded the most recent video to the below campaign link from last week where we distributed hundreds of food packages and a special Eid gift to the orphans thanks to donations from you and all donors.

Ramadan is always a blessed time with more donations for the needy but the orphans' hunger doesn't end today.  We MUST raise $10,000 every month to feed them but currenly only have 116 recurring donors giving $4,063 per month.  We need everyone's help to pledge to sponsor an orphan for just $50 per month, every month, right now on our site, insyaa' Allah!

We're entering the last 10 days of Ramadan.  While we all know the blessings of this month and these days, this month has also been an immense blessing to the orphans we help in Indonesia.  This March was the first time we have come even close to raising our  full goal and will allow us to help all 200 orphans this coming distribution.  There is still one day left to donate the remaining $600 for the distribution happening Monday.

🌱 A Decade of Difference

The us-Sunnah Foundation was founded in February 2014, so we're celebrating one decade together with our donors, like you!  In our first few years our founders purchased and established multiple rice fields, low-income apartments, and a small warehouse to begin our operations before opening up for donations online.  Together we have provided over 4 million meals, helped thousands in need, build hundreds of shelters, and have continuously supported hundreds of orphans every month.

Our Waqf covers all overhead while being run purely by local volunteers who live alongside the orphans makes us extremely efficient and more effective than large organizations.  Many of our original orphans lead fulfilling lives today and are even volunteers to uplift the next generation now!  We've worked hard to make sure every dollar donated is an amanat (trust) that makes the most impact and of course we have a true 100% donation policy thanks to our Waqf.

🚀 Immediate Opportunities

We currently have two urgent needs to ask everyone's support on that are time sensitive to get done before Ramadan begins in about a month:

1. Our team has acquired a good warehouse from our local community but it needs renovation to be used as our new headquarters for relief work.  This will allow us to expand our work from hundreds, to thousands, of orphans.  We need only ~$5,000 to get this fully functional.  We have a one-time donation link via Stripe for this:

2. Our team has 1,000 local orphans that we wish to feed hot meals for iftar on the first day of Ramadan next month and then also give them a month supply of food to feed these orphans for the entire month of Ramadan.  Not only are you feeding fasting people, but also feeding orphans in need.  It is a charity upon charity and 100% of your donation goes to these food bags.  As they are iftar focused the cost is just $20 per orphan with a goal of $20,000 to feed them all.  You can view photos of our past Ramadan events and donate right now at:

🌍 Elevating Our Impact

Finally we've updated our website with brand new features and stability directly using Stripe for a better donor experience and with more photos, documentation, and more for our campaigns.  We really need more recurring monthly donors to assist our mission long-term and would love if everyone could consider a donation or share our mission far and wide with everyone you know to help bring us to the next level of helping thousands of orphans every month.  Our primary long-term campaigns on our site are:

1. Orphans Relief (Monthly) —This is our primary campaign to feed and help 200 orphans every month for just $50 per orphan per month.  This is an extremely efficient campaign that needs your support every month.  Supported by our Waqf every donation goes 100% to helping our orphans.  You can view photos and donate at:

2. Orphans Waqf — This is honestly the most efficient way we've ever seen to make a difference and impact.  Funds donated are invested and both increase in asset value while providing monthly income until the end of time, long after we pass away.  Our waqf already consists of multiple rice fields, low-income apartments, and our warehouse that aid in our mission but we are now focused on Islamic Bonds.  These stable and well regulated bonds take your one-time donation and provide monthly recurring income while also compounded annually.  Just $100 donated today will give $280 over the next 10 years and have a value of ~$515... and continue to give for years and years after that.  You can read more and donate at:

3. Rohingya Refugees — We began helping the Rohingya after they arrived in Indonesia in 2015.  With your help we built hundreds of shelters, helped thousands of refugees, and worked directly with the government and local partners to provide meaningful long-term relief.  The refugees are still unable to return home and need ongoing care for basic needs.  You can view photos and donate at:

This month we updated our payment processor account with Stripe to take multiple forms of payments including regional payment options and bank transfers.  We've updated our site to a temporary site which has the new donation widget and is ready for donations via Stripe.  We will be getting our full site back up in February, insyaa' Allah.
