Salam, my dear brothers and sisters,

I hope you are all doing well in this blessed month of Ramadan, InshaAllah. I don’t have a habit of asking for donations due to the difficult nature of trust and responsibility. But this is a noble project, and the people are close to my heart.

In Istanbul, under the guidance of Shaykh Muwaffaq al-Murabi, there is an institute called ‘Dar al-Quran’. I have visited this place and also studied there for a few months in the summer period of 2019-2020. Alhamdulillah Shaykh Muwaffaq and his son, Shaykh Salih, have moved back home. However, there remain approximately 20 individuals (students of knowledge and scholars) who still need to relocate back home with their families and, thus, continue with the work of din that they carried out away from home for the past 7 seven years.

Shaykh Muhammad Umar, the principal of this institute, told me yesterday that each individual will require approximately $2,000 to move to home with their families, get accommodation, and pay the rent for three months. Thereafter, they will be in a position to take care of themselves, InshaAllah. So, it would cost approximately $40,000 (about £30,000) to help these 20 individuals and their families.

I am setting a target to raise £30,000. I know it is a huge amount, but nothing is difficult for Allah. Whatever we can raise will benefit us in both worlds, InshaAllah.

Please donate whatever you can. This is a noble project that will help the scholars of Shaam and their families. It is undoubtedly a worthy investment. Also, it is Zakat eligible.

Please note that not a single penny from this project will be taken by anyone except those eligible destitute brothers. My teachers—Shaykh Muwwafaq, Shaykh Salih, and Shaykh Umar—are all overseeing this initiative. I am simply a servant trying to help and serve as a means to raise the necessary funds, InshaAllah.

Your brother,
Muhammad Yasir Al-Hanafi (Aylesbury—UK).
