Empower 80 women in Kashmir for social entrepreneurship and vocational training
raised of £15,000 GBP goal
A unique opportunity to support 80 exceptional women in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir to learn and develop new skills in tailoring school clothes for Girls High Schools.
The Prophet (ﷺ), said:

In other words, the hand that earns for its family and is able to give in charity is better than one that simply takes.
Kashmir Vocational Centre is a small social enterprise project in collaboration with Muslim Hands to support women’s empowerment from disadvantaged backgrounds in Azad Kashmir.
The aim is not just to give charity, but to provide women with an opportunity to learn and develop new skills, and give them the chance to work and earn an income for themselves and their families.
In the first year, the Centre will teach and train 80 women how to sew and make clothes using professional industrial machines. After their training, they will be hired to make girl’s High School uniforms, which will be sold to schools in the local area inshaAllah.
