Welcome to Masjid Abubakr Al-Seddiq, a cornerstone of our community, where hearts unite in prayer and service. Established in 1995 we have been serving Muslim community in Rochester and surrounding areas. We offer five daily prayers, Jummah, Weekend Quran and Islamic school, burial services, marriage services, regular youth activities among other things. Over 500 people pray here between the two Friday prayers. Thousands pray together during Eid prayer. 

For years, Masjid Abubakr Al-Seddiq has been a beacon of faith, providing solace, guidance, and support to all who enter its doors.

But as time passes, the wear and tear on our beloved mosque have become evident. We have serious issues in our foundation, leaking roof, siding falling apart, making the building look very bad in the middle of downtown Rochester, which is being called the Destination Medical Center. It's time for us to come together and embark on a journey of renewal. 

Our total renovation cost is a little over $2 million. We have already secured almost a little over $1.8 million already. Renovation work is going on full swing. Major structural repair in the basement, fixing foundation, various waterproofing, brand new roof to replace our current damaged roof that leaks water inside the musalla regularly, brand new windows for better lighting and insulation, new front door, sidewalk along the wall for enhanced accessibility and protecting the wall, major electrical and various other works to bring everything up to code are among many items we are able to address alhamdulillah. 

We are only $180,000 away from completing the essential repairs of the house of Allah. We only need 1800 people to donate $100 to reach our goal inshaAllah. This is a very achievable goal. Every dollar goes towards the construction or the masjed building.
