The Faith Inspire STEPS programme comprises of a series of workshops set to inspire young change-makers through a faith-based approach to community activism and spirituality.
As part of the programme, young people develop a core set of leadership skills and are encouraged to lead, inspire and support future participants on their journey, allowing seamless access and inclusion onto the programme.
The cost of the programme per young person is currently just over £250, this includes learning materials, venue hire costs, field trips and an instructor-led weekend leadership residential.
Young people growing up today are faced with numerous challenges from all aspects of life, from academia to their personal identity, dynamics at home, culture and faith. Navigating this path, whilst holding onto their Islam is getting tougher by the day, as our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) said:
“There will come upon the people a time when holding onto the religion will be like holding onto hot coal.”
Faith Inspire is here to develop and empower individuals to be confident in their identity and faith, using the principles of Quranic vision & values, with an aim to help build an exemplary Muslim community in Britain that contributes to a society where all people flourish.
