The Waqf Project
Dar al-Zahra (UK) is a community charitable organisation that is run by women and serves women in Liverpool, UK and beyond. It is based upon three core and fundamental principles: Knowledge, Practice and Service.
Since its inception in 2018, Dar al-Zahra has gone from offering classes for young girls in Liverpool to offering various courses to women from all around the world.

Dar al-Zahra currently relies solely on donations and funding. Although we are truly blessed to be amongst a very generous and supportive community, we are striving to become a self-sustaining organisation. Dar al-Zahra's waqf project is an initiative that will allow continuous investment and income generation to alleviate the need for regular donations. The endowment will also allow investment in other projects that create continuous income.
The waqf project will allow us to become better together as any projects that are invested in will become sadaqa jariyah for oneself or in the name of loved ones for the life of the project to our donors.
The beauty of this project is that it will not only allow us to become better together but your investment into the project will act as an ongoing sadaqa jariya for you for as long as there are women benefiting from the knowledge taught.
Through the help of your generous donations we have been able to accomplish the following to date:
Dar al-Zahra Waqf Property Project
Stage 1
Alhamdulillah through your help Dar al-Zahr has been able to purchase its first property which is currently being renovated.
The property will include a shop on the ground floor and flats on the upper floors.
This is underway and is in the exciting phase of restructuring
Stage 2
As we move to the next stage of the project we require funds to invest into our 2nd property inshallah
