Children of Hope is supporting the care of 400 orphaned and vulnerable children in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh.
1.Musthafa Sabiya Educational Trust (MSET), Tamil Nadu
A transformative initiative dedicated to empowering 100 Muslim girls from underprivileged families across seven villages in the Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu. More details are located on their website: https://msetindia.org/coh-kids/
2. Shripur Mahila O Khadi Unnayan Samiti (SMOKUS) , West Bengal
Children of Hope is joining hands with SMOKUS to provide education for vulnerable children. Many rural children face significant barriers to attending school, including financial constraints, long distances, and the need to contribute to the household income. As a result, their education is often sacrificed, leading to a lack of awareness about better livelihood opportunities and continuing the cycle of generational poverty. Through this partnership, we aim to provide financial support to 150 children, ensuring they have the resources needed to pursue their education and break free from the constraints of poverty.
Children of Hope has partnered with SMOKUS for a second project, the M.R. Public school in Aligarh, U.P, India. The goal is to provide education for 150 orphaned and vulnerable children through the M.R . Public School in Aligarh District. This collaboration is enabling both organizations in offering a brighter future to 150 girls and boys who will benefit from quality education, nurturing their academic potential and personal development. This initiative aims to empower these children, helping them break free from the cycle of hardship and enabling them to build a future full of hope and opportunities. Children of Hope is taking care of 100 orphaned and vulnerable children in Dhaka and Cox Bazaar (Rohingyas Kids).
1. Participatory Development Action Program (PDAP) Learning Centre, Dhaka
This initiative provides educational resources for 50 children from impoverished families living in slums. We aim to support these children in overcoming the challenges of poverty and displacement by providing them with the tools they need to thrive academically and emotionally. PDAP works with people whose lives are dominated by extreme poverty, illiteracy, disease and other environmental problems. With multifaceted development interventions, PDAP strives to bring about positive change in the quality of life of these people. PDAP’s website has more details about the program: http://www.pdapbd.org/coh-kids/
2. Rohingyas Refugee Orphans and Vulnerable Kids
Children of Hope is providing educational support to 50 Rohingya refugee children through the PDAP organization. These orphans, displaced by ongoing conflict and persecution, face immense challenges as they struggle to survive in refugee camps or foreign lands. Separated from their families, they are vulnerable to physical and emotional hardship, with limited access to education, healthcare, and basic necessities. Children of Hope is committed to offering these children a sense of security and hope by providing them with education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment grounded in compassion and Islamic values. Through these efforts, we aim to help restore their dignity, empower them, and offer them the opportunity to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society.
Children of Hope (COH) is a federally registered Canadian charity (No. 84038 4879 RR0001) operating under the Canada Corporations Act run by volunteers.
Founded in 2005, COH is governed by a Board of Directors comprising community leaders, entrepreneurs, and young professionals. The organization is dedicated to helping the less fortunate by raising funds and advocating for orphans and destitute children worldwide.
While independent, COH collaborates with like-minded agencies overseas to serve the most vulnerable. It respects all faiths and upholds the moral duty of supporting orphaned and destitute children, regardless of race, religion, or creed. COH focuses on providing lasting solutions to address children’s physical, educational, and spiritual needs, fostering hope for a brighter future.
COH projects cover school expenses (textbooks, stationery, uniforms, and tuition), and ensure opportunities often taken for granted in first world countries. Our programs have transformed the lives of thousands of children, emphasizing the belief that every child deserves an education and a chance for a better life.
