A Message From Shaun King

To my sisters and brothers in Islam and to all of our friends around the world - OUR WORK HAS JUST BEGUN. Whatever we have done for the past 15 months is nothing compared to what we must do now. Over the past year, you and I alone provided hundreds of thousands of meals to Palestinians. Our friends at Human Concern International did so much more. But now we must step it up! We have trucks and supplies ready. We have kitchens and our staff in Gaza ready. This project will keep our kitchen open for ONE YEAR. Now we just need you! Please give your BEST donation and ask everybody you know to donate the same!

100% of your donation goes directly to HCI, which stands for Human Concern International—one of the oldest and most respected Muslim charities in North America. I trust this charity. Through them, I have processed nearly $4 million in direct aid for Gaza. The Executive Director of HCI is a brilliant, compassionate, devout Muslim woman named Mahmuda, whom I have met in person and trusted on multiple occasions. I would not do any of this work without being able to say this to you.

Nothing you donate here goes through me or to me. 0.00%. And it never will. None of it goes through me. I don’t have access to it. I don’t have access to the bank accounts that process your donations. I serve as an Ambassador to build awareness and connect you to the cause. For my safety, I don’t even have the username and password for this fundraiser, and I have never had one for a single fundraiser in my entire life. Anyone saying otherwise is being blatantly dishonest.

I am honoured to have officially joined the HCI staff as an Ambassador for this work. I have done international aid work for 20 years. I ask hard questions, I am thorough, and I am constantly pushing alongside our brilliant team to figure out how we can make the impossible possible. Contrary to false reports online, I do not receive a percentage of the funds I raise online for HCI.

Human Concern International has been working in Gaza for over twenty years. Its teams are on the ground, providing basic necessities such as food, water, shelter, and medical aid. Since the genocide has began they have been able to complete the below work for the people of Gaza and Palestinians as a whole. 

- We sponsored over 400 evacuated injured kids and their families in Turkey and Egypt. Many of you visited them last Ramadan

- We provided for thousands of children/Orphans in Gaza

- We distributed hundreds of hygiene kits in Gaza 

- We delivered vegetables to thousands of families in Gaza

- We funded our clinic in Gaza, which serves 700 patients daily

- We delivered more than 2 million litres of water in Gaza

- We delivered 4000 meals daily through our kitchen in Gaza

- We sponsored 300+ medical students in Gaza to become Doctors

- We provided diapers and baby formula to hospitals and families in Gaza

- We covered 300 sheep in Qurbani

- We provided food parcels to thousands of families

- We provided Eid clothing for children on Eid al Adha

- We invested million+ in rebuilding medical facilities in Gaza

- We sponsored hundreds of Palestinian refugee families in Jordan

- We built a massive water plant in West Bank for 10,000 people

-Provided winter clothing to children and orphans in winter
