THE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN SUDAN

The violence that erupted in April of last year in Khartoum and Darfur has led to catastrophic outcomes:

• Almost 8.6 million people have been displaced by the conflict.
• Over 14,000 lives have been lost, and tens of thousands more have been injured.
• More than 4 million children have been uprooted, triggering the largest child displacement crisis globally.
• 25 million people - half the country's population - need lifesaving assistance.
• More than 18 million people are facing acute hunger.
• A looming threat of famine exacerbates the situation, with thousands displaced in urgent need of aid.
• Essential utilities like electricity and gas are in shortage, severely affecting the healthcare system.

OUR RESPONSE

In response to the devastating situation, Sadagaat USA has embarked upon a mission to provide nourishment and food security to all those in need across the country.  The solution is Mobile Kitchens, which have become beacons of nourishment and hope, serving 5,000 people daily with nutritious meals and clean water in Sudan's most affected regions. However, sustaining these life-saving facilities requires significant resources.

THE COST OF COMPASSION & CARE

Operating just one large Mobile Kitchen, capable of supporting 5,000 individuals every day, requires $1.8 million annually. These kitchens are not just about providing food; they're about restoring dignity, offering a sense of normalcy, and building the foundation for long-term recovery.

HELP US INCREASE OUR IMPACT

Due to the support of our generous donors, Sadagaat USA has been able to set up a number of Mobile Kitchens, which feed thousands of people on a daily basis. In Ramadan alone, our impact reached up to 40,000 people each day, offering them nourishing Iftar meals and a sense of hope.

However, the need still exists, and the situation only grows more dire. That's why we need your help to continue our work. Your support will allow us to maintain our Mobile Kitchens, ensuring daily meals don't stop, as well as building new ones in order to reach more people.
