We all know that the life of an orphan may not be as easy as those of us who still have complete parents. Many orphans struggle to survive under any circumstances, while he is just a child who also wants to pursue his dreams in the future.

Filantra has a program for orphans in which there are around 150 fostered orphans from various regions in Indonesia. We named this program the Orphan Friendly Space, a facility dedicated Filantra to provide development for the potential of orphans in the form of practical knowledge skills. In addition, we also provide assistance with living expenses and education.

The most heartbreaking thing is when a pregnant woman dies due to delays in treatment where she has to cross to another sub-district to access health care for a 4-5 hour journey by ship.

There are no health facilities in Marisa Village, especially with the lack of access to electricity there. So that if there are residents who are sick and need medical treatment, they have to cross the island first for hours.

We hope they can have adequate electricity source facilities, this can help fix other problems such as the availability of adequate health facilities as well so that there is no need for more lives to be sacrificed.

The 5.6 magnitude Earthquake occurred in Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia and caused

• 321 people died

• 595 people were injured

• 73.693 people refuged

Filantra already sent 18 volunteers and collaborate with our CSR corporate partners to deliver these aids: 1460 food packages, 340 packs of Hygiene Kit, 580 packages of Blankets and Mattress, 395 pcs Tarpaulin, 2848 packages of Baby & Women's Equipment, 8 package of General Kitchen Supplies, 1 Ambulance, 645 packages Medicine, 457 packages Basic needs, 131 Refugee camp equipments, and 2 spots Health service post.

We already served 9.628 Beneficiaries in 36 distribution spots.

Mohammad Alfiansyah is one of them who lost his parents due to this bloody tragedy on October 1st, 2022.

After the match ended, at around 22.00 o’clock, the conditions inside the stadium suddenly became chaotic.

His parents died because they were trampled by other supporters who were about to leave the stadium. Meanwhile, Alfiansyah was survived after asking the police for help.
