This campaign is managed by Sh. Mohammad Elshinawy and he is working with trustworthy people connected with the family and we will do our best to ensure the children benefit directly from these funds.

The world-renowned and beloved vanguard, champion, and companion of the Quran Sheikh Abdallah Kamel passed away a few hours ago. He left behind a family and an orphaned son who was born this Ramadan and he had not met. The funds from this campaign will go directly to his family. 

This campaign is collecting donations on behalf of Sh Abdallah Kamel to be given to his family.  We Ask Allah to accept him in the HIGHEST level of Jennah.
 

"Allahumma have mercy on my bother Abdullah Kamel - he completed the Quran 24 times, and he was still saddened that he couldn't do more and would say "I've been occupied by travels". One of the things he said in a khatirah before his passing by two days "For those who deny that they will see Allah on the day of Judgement ... and is there anything that keeps me going with what I'm enduring other than being able to see Allah on the day of Judgement?!.." We prayed Fajr together yesterday and we sat together, and he led us for Dhur prayer. Afterward, we went to rest. Then I woke up ... but he didn't! I went to wake him up but his soul had already left to its sustainer - and we were in heartbreak"

"I just found out about the passing of my brother and friend the reciter Sheikh Abdallah Kamel in America. He went to sleep and he didn't wake up and Allah has taken back his soul... May Allah have an expansive mercy on you and made your abode Jannatul Firdaws Al- Alaa with the blessing of the Quran, and reunite us with you in emaan. And, we'll only say about this loss what pleases Allah."
