Al Isharah is a unique organisation, at the forefront of making Islam accessible to Deaf people!

We are committed to making Islam accessible to our Deaf brothers and sisters. As a charity, we are unique in providing the essential services that allow Deaf children to learn about Allah, learn how to make Wudhu, pray Salah, fast in Ramadan, and access Hajj & Umrah. We want to make the very basic tenets of Islam accessible at the least!

As one of the leading Deaf Muslim organisations, we are developing pioneering services and training the Muslim community in how to deal with and educate Deaf people.

Some of our most notable services include: 

• Translation of the first Qur'an into British Sign Language (BSL)
• Specialised Islamic classes in BSL provided by our experts
• Khutbah translations in British Sign Language (BSL)
• Dedicated Islamic Weekend Schools for Deaf children all around the UK
• Islamic workshops on various topics
• Deaf accessible Umrah a & Hajj trips

Why should you support them?
The Prophet Mohammed (saw) was sent as a mercy to the WHOLE of mankind. Unfortunately Deaf people do not have access to Islam for the most part. 

“It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth……..”
Surah Fath.48:28

We are doing our utmost to fulfil a communal obligation, but we cannot do it alone. Services like us are few and far between. We believe Deaf people, like everyone else, deserve the same right to learn about Islam. 

In the past few years, dozens of Deaf Muslims that we know of have abandoned Islam and turned to other religions, simply because of what is available to them. We know that we need to do more collectively. 

What will your donations go to?
Your donations will support Deaf children accessing Islamic classes, taught be our experts, setting up our services in other parts of the country, the translation of the BSL Quran, setting up  khutbah services in major UK cities, providing monthly lectures,
