BCEC is the ONLY facility of its kind in Brisbane City. The project aims to provide the community with a hub for prayer, worship, enlightenment, unity and interfaith collaboration.

Catering to the over 50,000 Muslims living in Brisbane and surrounds, BCEC is the ONLY permanent musallah (place of prayer) in the entire city. BCEC offers 2 Jummah sessions for the 700+ weekly attendees as well as being a facility for the 5 daily prayers, offering Taraweeh prayers in Ramadan, Eid salah and other religious gatherings year-round. 

BCEC also currently serves the MANY Muslims who live in the CBD and surrounds, many of whom are students who utilise the centre on a daily basis.

On top of this, BCEC serves the community as a centre for unity and Dawah right in the heart of the CBD. The centre is perfectly located at 138 Albert St, right next to the new Cross River Rail station and a mere 2 minute walk from Queen Street Mall.

This project is ESSENTIAL for both current and future generations. Be a part of paving the way, so that the youth of today have a place to practice their religion tomorrow.

After recently purchasing the 1st floor of 138 Albert St, BCEC is in DESPERATE need of funds for renovations, to meet new council regulations as well as converting the floor into the state-of-the-art centre the community NEEDS. The complete renovations will see the capacity of the main prayer hall increased (the 1st Jummah is currently at maximum capacity each week) as well as wudhu and toilet facilities for BOTH men and women. This is a project which our community is in DIRE need of.
