Allah Almighty says in His Holy Book:

"And they give food in spite of their love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, (8) [Saying], 'We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.'” (Al-Insan: 8-9).

This noble verse reminds us of the importance of feeding the needy, emphasizing that giving to those in need is a sincere act of worship for the sake of Allah alone, not for any reward or gratitude. It is a way to draw closer to Allah, the Most High.
