The Situation

Afghanistan have been occupied and at war for more than 20 years already.  

The country currently has 22 million facing acute hunger

8 Million are on the brink of Famine

In the next 3-6 months – apprx 1 million children are going to die from Starvation and the COLD

The UN has described it as “The worst humanitarian crisis on earth”

We are having firsthand reports of babies being sold because parents cannot afford to feed them  

Last week an Afghani sheikh even sent us a picture of a child that had been abandoned only a few days after been born.  

Mothers are begging aid workers to take their children

Human Aid’s work

We have already been distributing emergency aid on the ground for a while.

The ministry of health has officially invited us to continue and develop our work in Afghanistan

But right now, as we speak, our chairman and trustee with our local team are on the ground distributing aid to some of the most vulnerable and need people.  

We have invested in staff, transportation vehicles, IT equipment, camera equipment and are now in the process of opening an office in the capital.  

We are one of very few charities on the ground ourselves and we are now putting a lot of our focus into really developing our work there.
