Palestine is experiencing intense suffering due to violence and conflicts. Thousands of lives are lost, and there is an urgent need for humanitarian support. This marks the distribution of the 60th laptop to a child whose father is a taxi driver, and mother is a housewife.
Aisyah, a university student majoring in counseling, faces challenges in managing her course assignments and relies on a personal laptop for her studies. Frequently, she has to disturb her roommate for access to a laptop or visit the university's library, which has only a handful of PCs.
Due to her father's financial constraints, as her four other siblings are also in universities, Aisyah couldn't afford a personal laptop to aid her studies.
In her search for assistance, she discovered the Iltizam Relief Society. Upon applying online, she was pleasantly surprised to receive good news within a few days.

Her current ambition is to help others after successfully completing her studies.

This marks the distribution of the 59th laptop given to this child, whose single mother works as a rubber tapper in her village in sountern part of Kelantan.

When her mother mentioned a longer wait for a laptop, she searched online for organizations providing free laptops for students. She discovered Iltizam Relief Society, applied through their online form, and was pleasantly surprised to learn she had been selected based on her criteria.

On 11 December 2023, our team was dispatched to Kelantan state for flood relief. During the mission, the team made a stop at her university in Kelantan to deliver the laptop.


She has repeatedly conveyed her appreciation for the laptop, emphasizing her surprise as she never imagined anyone would come forward to help. This highlights her urgent need for a laptop.

Urgent: Help Provide Shelter to Families in Crisis

Assalamualaikum w.r.b,

After devastating floods in Pakistan last year, families are still without proper shelter. Our plan is to replace makeshift tents with proper mud houses for 200 families at USD 1200 each. We urgently seek your support for our Community Shelter Project in Nawabshah, Pakistan. 

The background of the crisis is severe, with 33 million Pakistanis affected, and winter is approaching. We face a funding gap, but construction is set to begin in July. Your support can make a significant difference. A donation of USD 1200 can provide one family with a secure shelter.

Iltizam Relief Society, active since 2013, has been impacting lives across 12 countries. By the end of 2023, we aim to establish a disabled rehabilitation center in Pakistan, inshaAllah.

29 October 2023 : This marks the distribution of the 58th laptop to an underprivileged student pursuing their education at UiTM Seri Iskandar, Perak, Malaysia.

The student was expecting a basic laptop, even though his studies require a laptop with graphic design software installed, which is more expensive.
At Iltizam Relief, we provide laptops that enhance students' studies, not just basic ones. Hence, we checked what studies he is pursuing, and we ensure the laptop has the necessary software to support his studies.
He was pleasantly surprised to find that the laptop came with graphic design software, perfectly meeting his needs. Otherwise, he would have had to rely on borrowing a laptop from friends or using one at the library.

His single mother depends solely on her late husband's pension to support the family, and she herself is in poor health.

In today's university education setting, laptops have evolved into a crucial tool for students, serving as not just a necessity but as their educational lifeline.

Laptop Number 56!

31 July 2023, Kuala Lumpur

Praise Allah for everything. Today, Iltizam Relief Society delivered the 56th free laptop for this student from Sabah (Borneo), who is enrolling herself at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, Kuantan campus, on 2 August 2023.

 

Being the eldest and the first child to further study at the university level, her father, who is a daily-wage labourer, could not afford a laptop, which will assist his daughter’s education.

One of our volunteers in Sabah informed him that Iltizam Relief is giving free laptops to deserving students. Alhamdulillah, at that time we had a laptop ready; hence, she was selected to receive it since she met the criteria.

This is laptop number 56 we gave out.

We feel blessed that Allah chose you and us to help these children, who have great potential in education but whose progress is hindered by poverty. No child should be denied the best education in the name of poverty.

Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this goal of 50 laptops!

But we can continue to do more, insha Allah.

Today, on 1^st Muharram 1445, we gave a laptop to this student of UiTM in the northern state of Perlis. This will be the 54^th laptop we give to a poor university student, and this will be the first laptop we give in the state of Perlis.

This girl was desperately chasing us to help her with a laptop. She was relying on her friend’s mercy to borrow her laptop. Today is a big day for her; finally, she got a brand-new laptop for herself.

In Malaysia’s education system, the SPM examination (Malaysia Certificate of Education examination) is the most important examination. Students who got their SPM only will get placement in local universities.

The SPM result was out in June 2023, and students started to get placement in universities.

In today's university studies, laptops are an essential tool for students.

Students from poor families often struggle to have a personal laptop because their families cannot afford to buy one.

 

Iltizam Relief realized the need to help these students. Since we launched this free laptop for university students, we have given out 54 laptops to 54 bright students.

We received many applications for laptops from poor students. We don’t want to disappoint these students.
