HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR ONE WATER WELL?
Projects for Humanity builds water-wells across the country including Rohingya refugees camp in Bangladesh.
One water-well cost is only $150
Providing a water-well is Sadaqah-e-Jariyah
This is a Sadaqah-e-Jariyah, which means it is a continuous form of charity that will benefit you and your loved ones in the hereafter.
By building a water-well, not only will you provide water to humans, but also to animals, birds, insects, and plants.
We will be asked in the Day of Judgement
Prophet (PBUH) said: Allah SWT will say on the Day of Resurrection: 'O' son of Adam, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink.' He will reply: 'How could I give You drink? You are the Lord of the worlds!' He will say: 'Did you not know that my slave so and so, the son of so and so felt thirsty and you did not give him drink. Alas, if you had given him, you would have found that (i.e. reward) with me.
Solar Powered RO Drinking Water Treatment Plant
We will build a solar-powered Reverse Osmosis (RO) drinking water treatment plant. This plant will produce 5000 liters of water daily, providing sufficient clean drinking water for 200 families or more than 1000 individuals every day. The plant is designed to serve 3.6 million people over a period of 10 years, delivering over 18 million liters of water.
WHY BANGLADESH?
More than 1.8 million people in Bangladesh lack access to an improved water source and 36 million lack improved sanitation. Bangladesh is one of the most climate change-vulnerable countries in the world.

The project will be implemented in Satkhira, Bangladesh.
