Give the Gift of Water by helping us build Water Wells & Hand Pumps for the underprivileged communities in Pakistan and West Africa.

Share the Blessings of Water as Sadaqah !!

Help us build water pumps and Water Wells to bring clean water to the underprivileged communities in Pakistan and West Africa. Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being.  Sadly, billions of people will lack access to these services by the year of 2030. Water is essential not only to health, but also to poverty reduction, food security, peace and human rights, ecosystems and education. Pakistan and West Africa face growing challenges linked to water scarcity, water pollution, degraded water-related ecosystems and cooperation over transboundary water basins.

NO Access to Clean Water is Life Threatening

  • Globally, 785 million people lack a basic source of drinking water. That's over twice the population of the United States.
  • In 2017, nearly 1.6 million people died from diarrheal diseases. 33% of those were children under the age of 5.
  • Pakistan ranks 14 out of 17 “extremely high water risk” countries in the world, as the country wastes one-third of water available. More than 80 percent of the country’s population faces “severe water scarcity.”

ABOUT US

House of Dawah has been able to make its impact over the past 10 years because of the dedication of thousands of hearts, hands, and voices who came

together to support our core value: HE WHO HELPS ONE, HELPS THE MANKIND.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah: a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for them”.

Join us on our goal to build 20 community hand pumps and 22 water wells across Pakistan's and West African's  remote villages.

Sadaqah Jariyah for the Deceased in the Hadith

Sadaqah Jariyah is a charity that one not only gives on behalf of oneself, but it may also be given on behalf of others. This includes those that have already passed, as this charity can benefit them in Jannah. It is said that:

“The deceased can benefit from charity given on his behalf, which includes digging a well, or planting a tree, whether he does that during his lifetime, or it is done by someone else on his behalf after his death.”

Sadaqah Jariyah for Parents in the Hadith

While it’s possible to give Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of the deceased, you may also choose to give Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of living parents. When giving Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of someone else, you want to ensure you’re making the right decision for them.

To that end, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “The best charity is giving water to drink”. As a result, you may choose to donate towards the building of a water well on behalf of your parents. Not only will this provide a community with ongoing benefits, but it will also strengthen your parents’ bond with Allah (SWT).

Sadaqah Jariyah Can Cure Illnesses and Prevent Death

A number of people globally are in vulnerable positions, leaving them vulnerable to serious illnesses that lead to painful deaths. Sadaqah Jariyah is one of the most effective forms of charity when it comes to tackling such hardship. This is because Sadaqah Jariyah doesn’t refer to a one-time donation; it has the power to impact a person or community for years to come.

Sadaqah Jariyah Can Relieve Hardship and Eliminate Catastrophes

There are thousands of people in Pakistan who have  no place to call home and struggle to find clean drinking water and nutritious food. Meanwhile, there are millions more who are living in places recovering from natural disasters such as last years floods . Essentially, these people suffer from hardship daily, and catastrophes wreak havoc on their livelihoods. While one-time donations are greatly appreciated, these may only shelter, hydrate, or feed someone for a day. An act of Sadaqah Jariyah, though, can relieve this hardship and eliminate the impact of these catastrophes for good. Building a water well on behalf of yourself or your loved one, but most importantly for the sake of Allah gives people an access to clean water, thus eliminating a daily struggle .

Giving Sadaqah Jariyah shows strong faith and gratitude to Allah (SWT), trusting that he will change situations for the better. In fact, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Give the Sadaqah without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”
